KJI creates the new vision through layouts and elevations that are reviewed, revised and enriched through client meetings. KJI can work in tandem with the clients’ architect and builder as a team to create the vision. Each project is a new and unique collaboration of skilled design experts.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Planning, selecting and designing the lighting, custom millwork, cabinetry, finish materials and color are all in the scope of services KJI provides to clients. As an Interior Designer, KJI has access to a vast inventory of materials and resources that are carefully considered, culled, and incorporated into client presentations.
INTERIOR DECORATION
Reupholstering a favorite sofa, freshening a space with new window treatments & custom pillows, creating a cohesive design through fabrics, floor coverings, furnishings and decorative appointments — all of these important design elements are handled with expertise and care. It’s the “dress-maker” details on the custom upholstery and the balance of scale, pattern, color, texture, and form that KJI considers when making design selections for your space.
COLOR CONSULTING
Color is one of the least expensive ways to transform a space and one of Kate’s most treasured design elements. Whether your home is under new construction, or you’re just ready for a fresh look, color is the unifier that can complete a well-balanced, cohesive design.
